Mark Thompson
Board Chairman
Since his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in July 2007, Mr. Mark Thompson has presided over the transformation of Advantage General Insurance Company and plays a pivotal role in the Company’s commitment to become the “Digital Insurer of Choice”. With over 25 years’ experience in Public Accounting, Investment Banking (including Financial Advisory Service), Finance, Operations and General Business Management, he has been able to develop a performance-based culture within the organization. Prior to joining the Company, he worked in several prominent businesses in senior positions with the most recent being the Chief Financial Officer for Cable & Wireless Jamaica. He also worked in Canada for over 10 years and within the CARICOM region at companies such as KPMG, MGI Software and World Gaming Plc.
He currently serves as Corporate Secretary of the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF), a risk pooling facility designed to limit the financial impact of catastrophic hurricanes and earthquakes to Caribbean governments.
Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto, with a minor in Actuarial Science and Economics, and has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants for 25 years.
Lorna E. Green
Board Director
Lorna E. Green is an experienced Corporate Executive who has served as Vice President and CEO in large and medium sized companies since 1990.
She has chaired/sat on numerous Public Sector Boards inclusive of the Central Information Technology Office (CITO), Betting, Gaming & Lottery Commission (BGLC), Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC), Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC), Mona School of Business Advisory Committee and UTECH Computer Advisory Board. She chaired the IT Subcommittee of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) responsible for mapping Jamaica’s 25 year Development Plan in 1995.
Ms Green has served extensively on Charitable and Industry Organizations such as Women Business Owners (WBO) where she represented the WBO at the Council level of the PSOJ.

Ms. Green was awarded Lifetime Membership in the Jamaica Computer Society and is Recipient of the Alexander Graham Bell Award, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Ms. Green holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA in Telecommunications and Finance. She is the mother of two children Gillian and Abeng.
Robert Wynter
Managing Director/Board Director
Robert Wynter is the Founder, Managing Director and Principal Consultant/Strategist with Strategic Alignment Limited, and prior to forming Strategic Alignment Limited in July 2009, he was a founding partner in Growth Facilitators which for most of the past decade (2001 –2009) was the leading Strategic Planning, Leadership Development and Transformation Coaching firm in the Caribbean.
With a background in Chemical Engineering with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from University of Toronto and McGill University respectively, Robert built on his process thinking honed as an engineer and with an MBA from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies in the USA, he has launched into a career in Management Consulting with special emphasis on Strategic Transformation and Leadership Development.
Robert is also a Certified Professional Facilitator and a member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF). He has presented at IAF conferences in South Africa in 2008 and Finland in 2010.
Robert is a Kaplan and Norton certified Balanced Scorecard Practitioner. Robert has served on the Boards of the Planning Institute of Jamaica, Jamaica College and the Jamaica Employers Federation.

Andre Wynter
Board Director
Combine creativity, storytelling, and business acumen, and you have Andre Wynter. He has led an impressive career as a filmmaker and CEO in his twelve years working in the film and television industry.
Currently completing a Studio Intern at Symphony Financial Institution. Andre has served as MD at JA Films Limited takes on the challenge of bringing to life multi-layered, authentic Jamaican stories. Before, Andre worked as a Producer at Television Jamaica helping the station increase the number of local content. Andre evaluated and developed projects by collaborating with fellow independent producers. He got his start freelancing on several television series and music videos.
Andre has been honored best director at the LA Sun and the Brazilian Independent Film Festival for his short film Sweet Rind in 2020. To date, the film is accepted to 45 film festivals across four continents. In 2019, he won the Entrepreneurship award by First Heritage Cooperative Credit Union for excellence in social entrepreneurship.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Film and Television from Savannah College of Arts and Design.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and giving back to his community.
Howard Mitchell C.D., J.P.
Board Director
A lawyer by profession, Mr. Howard Mitchell maintained a successful Commercial Law Practice for thirty-five (35) years, with concentrations in Mining Law and Taxation, before retiring in 2010.
Mr. Mitchell has demonstrated a strong commitment to Public Service for decades and was appointed to the Board of the National Housing Trust (NHT) in 1987 and again served as Chairman from February 2008 to June 2012. He serves as a Justice of the Peace (JP) and in 2017 was awarded the Order of Distinction (Commander Class) for outstanding service to Business and the Public Sector.
He is the immediate past Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Jamaica and the Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal and has also served as Chairman on numerous statutory boards across a wide range of government ministries over the past twenty years (including the Coffee Industry Board). Mr. Mitchell has also negotiated a number of mining agreements on behalf of the Government of Jamaica.

Development Agency (SDA) to become the Jamaica Lottery Company Limited (operators of Jamaica’s first successful private lottery) and the co-founder of the Sports Development Foundation (SDF) (which was the forerunner of the CHASE Fund), as well as the establishment of Jamaica’s largest packaging manufacturing plant, Corrpak Jamaica Ltd., before selling that company in 2016.
Mr. Mitchell is the immediate past President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) and a Director of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
Mr. Mitchell’s philanthropic activities include his financial support of numerous charities and his membership on the Boards of Mustard Seed Foundation, the Issa Trust Foundation and his former Chairmanship of St. Patrick’s Foundation.
His interests include fishing and traveling. He has been married for over 44 years and has two daughters.

Nikoda Campbell
Deputy Managing Director
Nikoda holds the post of Deputy Managing Director, and has held several positions since joining the team in 2016. Her experience spans General Business Management, Finance, Strategy, Operations and Human Resources Management, Sales, Marketing & Corporate Services. She has had the opportunity to work in all functional areas of the company and plays a pivotal role in streamlining the company’s internal support services, strategy execution and maintaining internal controls.
Major career accomplishments to date include the buildout of the human resources and information technology portfolios, revamping the finance and accounts support services and coordinating marketing initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona and Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
